Patient Localizing

Patient Localizing

Along with the capability to deliver precision treatments like IMRT with high dose gradients, comes an increased responsibility to ensure that the patient is located correctly prior to treatment. Use of ultrasound target localization has become a popular re-imbursable approach to solving this challenge. CMS I-Beam is available as an option in the OSI turn-key approach to IMRT solutions at a cost effective price point.

I-Beam Target Localization System is a self contained mobile system which uses ultrasound image acquisition compared to images used to plan the patient treatment to confirm the position of tumor in the treatment room and to give spatial adjustment information to the therapist.
