HeadFIX™ The key feature of the VBH HeadFIX™ system is its mouthpiece with the patient's upper palate impression, which is captured through a simple process. The custom-formed mouthpiece is drawn to the patient's maxilla using a vacuum process. It is fixed without the active cooperation of the patient and the control of the vacuum pressure ensures rigid fixation and accurate repositioning, while maintaining maximum comfort for the patient. The structure of the fixation system is made from carbon fiber and is radio-transparent.

BodyFIX™ is a new device for improving the accuracy of diagnostic imaging and therapy in a patient friendly and non-invasive way.

The BodyFIX™ from Medical Intelligence is a vacuum technology based patient fixation system, that can be used for all parts of the body. To apply the fixation, the region of interest is covered with a thin plastic fixation sheet and flexible air flow cushions/modules. When the vacuum pump is turned on, the air between the patient and the sheet is evacuated and the sheet is drawn against the patient's body, producing a homogeneous pressure.

Due to the highly rigid nylon material and the small but very hard polysterene spheres the Medical Intelligence vacuum cushions are made to retain the shape of the patient mold for 6 weeks without having to re-evacuate. The vacuum cushions can be reused over years and will amortise after a small number of patients.
