High Energy Linear Accelerators
For classification purposes we have defined High energy systems as units incorporating Klystrons to deliver a higher dose rate at elevated photon energies. High energy units are almost always configured with dual energies, typically offering a choice of 6 MV photons and higher photon energy between 10 MV and 25 MV. Choosing a high energy linear accelerator of any brand invariably means that the unit also offers Electron energy delivery.
